How to read IPO subscription data

QIB represents the Qualified Institutional Buyers category. NII/HNI represents non-institutional investors, including the applicable HNI sub-categories. Retail represents the retail investor category. A figure of 10x means the received demand is ten times the shares reserved for that category.

What do QIB, NII and Retail subscription numbers mean?

Each investor category has its own reservation and demand. A high multiple in one category does not automatically mean the entire IPO is equally subscribed. The table therefore keeps QIB, NII/HNI and Retail figures separate so readers can see where demand is concentrated.

How is total subscription different from category multiples?

Subscription figures are based on the shares available in each category. Because category allocations differ, the total subscription multiple should not be interpreted as a simple average of QIB, NII and Retail multiples.

When does subscription data change?

Demand can change throughout the bidding period and the final figures may differ from an earlier snapshot. IPO Dhamaka displays the latest available values recorded in its data fields and shows an update label where available. For the complete offer details, open the relevant IPO Directory page and verify final figures with official exchange or issuer sources.

Important: Subscription figures are informational snapshots and may be slightly delayed or take some time to update. For the latest and most accurate subscription figures, please verify them on the official NSE/BSE websites before making an investment decision.
